Why buy from small businesses on Black Friday

Published On: 24/11/2022Categories: Eco Conscious

Black Friday is a day that dominates small business owners’ minds. Whether you set up a sale, or choose to opt out, there’s still a choice to be made on a big day for retail.

Here at take good care we want to use the day to remind people of why they should buy from us and other small businesses, rather than luring people in with FOMO inducing offers.

Our TGC t-shirts are a perfect example. Made by Earth Positive, a clothing brand that promises organic, ethical and climate neutral garments. We give 10 percent of proceeds from the t-shirts to local mental health charities in Sussex.

We love being able to create a way to give back with our products, and that’s part of the beauty of being a small business.

We have the flexibility and freedom to enact change in a way bigger companies can’t, or won’t, do.

And the change is felt all year round. Small businesses are still the lifeblood of our communities, and we’ve discovered a new set of friends in Eastbourne. Our businesses don’t just count on Black Friday but provide unique, sustainable and interesting products all year round.

So support small this Black Friday, not just at take good care but our Foundry Space Eastbourne family, Students of the Game, GemslilTrinkets, @iamaslowpoke.

But that being said, we don’t save our deals to just one day a year – check out our offers page for our latest bargains! We’re also going to be revealing out new products very soon, supplied by ethical and sustainable brands that care about our planet as much as we do.

To hear about the latest take good care range, be sure to check back to our blog very soon, and sign up to our newsletter at the bottom of this page. You’ll also get 10% off your first order!
