Here at takegoodcare we're all about sustainability – and so we're proud to announce that we've been named runner-up for Best Environmental Business at the Seahaven Business Awards 2023!
When Barbara began takegoodcare less than two years ago the aim was to create a sustainable business that didn't harm the planet. We use sustainable packaging, sell eco-friendly products, and adhere to socially conscious business practices wherever we can.
From reusable bamboo cutlery to recycled scarves, we love showing new customers how to reduce their environmental impact on the planet. And that's why we're so thrilled to be named runner-up at our first-ever Seahaven Business Awards ceremony.
"It was a real honour to receive the award and it shows that people are taking notice of what we do," says TGC founder Barbara.
"I'm so proud of what we've done so far. From our amazing online shop to our pop-up store in Eastbourne. We take orders from all over the country because more and more people are looking for ethical, sustainable shopping options that are better for the environment and help us appreciate the world around us.
"Our takegoodcare Local Hero awards and lifestyle blog aim to promote and champion well-being – both on a personal and environmental level.
“Being recognised by the Seahaven Business Awards is just the next step for us. We have big ambitions to help more people take good care of themselves, and improve the planet we share.”
Of course, this isn’t the last you’ll hear form Barbara or TGC this summer. We have some exciting news coming in the very near future. Watch this space!
Barbara was presented with her award by Oliver Sutton from sponsors Fine Marketing. Congratulations, too, to Havens Food Cooperative who won the Best Environmental Business award for the second year running, and to Jeavons Toffee who came third.
